Courtois hints at pal Hazard joining Real Madrid from Chelsea admitting ‘it would be nice’
THIBAUT COURTOIS is looking for Eden Hazard to join him at Real Madrid, saying teaming up with his pal would be “nice”.
The Belgian duo were at Chelsea together before keeper Courtois completed a dream move to the La Liga side last summer.
And Hazard has long been linked with a switch to the Spanish capital too – with their hopes of signing the attacker boosted by Maurizio Sarri’s woes.
The former PFA Player of the Year recently lavished praise on ‘old man’ Sarri.
But the ex-Napoli boss’ star is starting to dull following the crushing defeats to Bournemouth and Man City.
And now Courtois has ramped up the chances of Hazard jumping ship again after being quizzed on it following Real’s 2-1 Champions League win at Ajax last night.

Asked about Hazard joining him at the Bernabeu, Courtois said: “It would be nice, but I can’t say too much about it.
“That’s something he has to decide himself.
“And Real… I don’t know if they want him.
“Eden is a top player and my friend.”
Hazard’s current deal expires next year and the player himself has admitted on several occasions that it is his “dream” to play for Los Blancos.
However, there could be a way for Hazard to remain in West London.
Although it is not good news for under-pressure Sarri.
SunSport can reveal Chelsea are plotting to sack the Italian, who appears to be out of his depth.
And they are ready to move for ex-Real boss Zinedine Zidane, who is Hazard’s idol and could potentially get the very best out of the forward.
